Thin lines are sometimes achieved by leaving a space between 2 strips of tape

also with markers

Dutch pour with Purple   Teal    Yellow ochre     white surround 

Adds drops of more colour and blows again                   Hair dryer - push white over and then spread

Markers and ruler over tape!
